Trail Description PCT - From Mexico to Canada
The PCT extends from Campo, California, over 2650 miles (4240km) to Manning Park, Canada.
While thru-hiking you cross 3 states, 7 national parks, 24 national forests, 33
wilderness areas and 5 geographical regions with their own climate, geology as well
as flora and fauna.
American thru-hikers usually say the following about the PCT: "Everyday is like a
postcard", because the landscape simply is breathtaking in many areas.
The difficulties about the PCT are mainly the changing climatic conditions (desert,
snowed passes) and the resupply logistics.
