Trail Journal
Modern technology makes it possible that we will be able to post our diary entries about
our adventures on the PCT pretty regularly. Therefore we will fall back on the pocketmail,
a popular device among American thru-hikers.
On trail we can write mails on the pocketmail and later on send them off from any phone booth.
This small machine works like an acoustic coupler, which you probably will not remember any more.
You can receive and send emails with it and since under normal circumstances we will come
across a phone both at least each 6-8 days we will be able to keep our trail journal pretty
much updated.
